OPTIMALISASI APLIKASI 3D MENGGUNAKAN KOMBINASI TEKNIK DRAW CALL BATCHING, TEXTURE ATLAS, DAN LEVEL OF DETAIL
Abstract
Tur STIMATA 3D, an application that have been build using Unity and can run on Android device. This application offer interactive virtual tour for STIMATA campus. Real-time rendering used to display 3D models. When running on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Android device that have screen with 60 Hz refresh rate, this application only able to running at 27 fps. This research aim to optimizing Tur STIMATA 3D performance for display 3D image more efficiently. Method for performance optimization using combination of 3 technique, Draw Call Batching, Texture Atlas, and Level of Detail. Conclusion of this research is improving performance of Tur STIMATA 3D application using rendering techniques combination. For 10 Android device that have been test, all device get faster rendering time after Draw Call Batching, Texture Atlas, and Level of Detail implementation with 22,82 fps average improvement.
