Cloud computing is a cost effective alternative for the scientific community to deploy large scale warkflow applications.For executing large scale scienfic workflow applications in a distributed hetereogenous enviornment, scheduling of workflow tasks with the dynamic resorces is a challenging issue.Mereover in a utity based computing like cloud which supports pay per use model of the resources, schenduling algorithm must efficiently utilize the available time of the resorce.Most of the existing schenduling heuristis does not condiser the dynamic nature of the cloud and hence produc the static schedule. Public cloud enviorment like Amazon EC2 offers cotalog of recources and the price is generally metered per huor. Here any fractional usage is rouded off to the next hour. To meet dthe bugdet deadline of the customers proposed work focouses to incorporate a biling model awaere task clustering mechanism in the forkflow scheduling proces. This work also present a resorce selections algorithm which can be used for chooosing proper resource at each stage in the workflow. Prelminary obtained by running two scientific applications Montage and Cybershake with difefert resource and task clustering mechanisms are discussed.
